My Chronicles

So these are stories of life, according to me.   I want to emphasize the word “stories.”   I am not a writer, but a storyteller.  I’m not grammatically correct and I think I might have flunked that part in school that had something to do with diagramming sentences.  I’m still not sure what all that was about….

Anyway, some of my stories are from right here on the farm, while others might be while I am on the road traveling.  I might tell stories about our bath & body business, or I might reflect back to something silly twenty years ago.  Who knows... anything goes! I'm a little bit country, and a little bit rock and roll.

There is so much to love about this body oil y’all, and I am SO very proud of it! It is called No. 6 because it contains 6 powerful plant ingredients plus Vitamin E – and that’s it! It’s a simple formula with a [...]

    An Accidental Meeting

Driving up to QVC Studios on 5/18/15.  First Time.    So as I am sitting here watching QVC, I am a little bummed that I was delayed in making a decision to order an Isaac Mizrahi moto jacket.  Just as I clicked 'submit order' I [...]

    Insomnia, Earrings, and QVC!

There has been a joke inside my family for years anytime one of them asks me where I got something new, and there is usually a typical response before I speak:  "Oh don't tell me - QVC!" I have been a QVC shopper for years.  It all started [...]

    And so the legend goes…

I have always been enthralled with hummingbirds.  My mother would always hang up feeders when I was a child, so I guess it was only natural when I "flew the nest" and set up my own housekeeping that I, too, would do the same.   As an adult [...]

You know you're from a small town when…

It is days like today when I realize how nice it is to be living in a small town.  It is two days before Thanksgiving and I had to "go to town" for errands.  So before I go any further let me say how much I love saying "going to town." [...]

Now that our Julia 1933 collection has hit the shelves, we have many folks asking us where the name came from.
